LeSean McCoy Hangs Up His Cleats
3 years agoThe Philadelphia Eagles all-time leading rusher, running back LeSean McCoy, announced his retirement on Thursday. He will sign a one-day contract with Philadelphia to officially retire with them on Friday. The 33-year-old spent 12 seasons in the NFL with the Eagles, Buffalo Bills, Kansas City Chiefs and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. McCoy made the Pro Bowl six times and was a first-team All-Pro twice (both with Philly). The second-round pick in 2009 will retire as one of only five running backs in NFL history with at least 11,000 rushing yards and 500 catches. In his prime, Shady was an absolute beast for fantasy managers, especially in point-per-reception leagues. He finishes with 11,102 rushing yards, 73 rushing TDs, 518 receptions, 3,898 receiving yards and 16 receiving TDs.
