3 years agoThe Kansas City Royals placed starting pitcher Daniel Lynch (hand) on the 10-day injured list on Thursday with a right hand contusion. Lynch suffered the injury during his start against the Cleveland Indians on Wednesday. He was hit in the hand by a comebacker off the bat of Indians catcher Austin Hedges. Lynch is done for the year, putting an end to a rough rookie season. The 24-year-old made 15 starts and went 4-6 with a 5.69 ERA and a 1.63 WHIP. He'll be one of many candidates to be part of the Royals rotation at the start of next season.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
