OwnersBox Quarterback Picks
On OwnersBox, you have the option of starting two quarterbacks as this is a Superflex contest.
Teddy Bridgewater, DEN ($6,200) - vs BAL
The Ravens defense seems like it's pretty good, but it has allowed the 14th-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks this season. And Denver's Teddy Bridgewater is 11th in the league in passing yards, ahead of Josh Allen, Baker Mayfield, and Lamar Jackson.
Teddy B is completing an absurd 76.8 percent of his passes this year, the second-highest mark in the NFL. He's thrown just four touchdowns, but part of that was that he didn't have to take many risks against the Jets last week because...well, the Jets are the Jets.
This week, I like the matchup for Bridgewater, because the Broncos will need to throw the ball to keep up with this Ravens offense.
Matt Ryan, ATL ($5,800) - vs WAS
It's been an inconsistent season for Matt Ryan. He threw three picks in Week 2 against Tampa, but hasn't thrown any interceptions in his other two games. He threw zero touchdowns in Week 1, but has thrown two in each of his other games.
I like him a lot this week against Washington, a team that has allowed the most fantasy points in the league to opposing quarterbacks through three weeks at 27.7. With Ryan costing you just $5,800 on OwnersBox, you should definitely take advantage and throw him in some lineups, even if Ryan's collection of pass-catchers isn't quite what it used to be.
OwnersBox Running Back Picks
Zack Moss, BUF ($4,800) - vs HOU
Game script alert! The Texans are terrible, especially with Davis Mills at quarterback. The Bills are likely to get up big in this game, with a lot of rushing attempts coming in the second half.
Moss was a healthy scratch in Week 1, but that seems like an anomaly, as his role has continued to grow. Last week, Moss had 13 carries to Devin Singletary's 11. He had three targets to Singletary's two. He caught a touchdown, and he played 10 more snaps than Singletary.
What looked like a solidified backfield with Singletary as the lead back after one week now looks like a timeshare that's trending Moss's way.
By the way, the Texans have allowed the second-most rushing touchdowns in the NFL and the ninth-most fantasy points per game to running backs.
OwnersBox Wide Receiver Picks
Davante Adams, GB ($7,800) - vs PIT
This article is full of value plays, but let's go ahead and go with one big-money player: Davante Adams against the Steelers.
Pittsburgh allows the sixth-most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers this season. There's a bit of a funnel situation going on here, as the Steelers haven't allowed a rushing touchdown but have allowed the seventh-most passing touchdowns and 13th-most passing yards.
As for Adams, well...he's Davante Adams. He's surpassed 120 yards in back-to-back weeks and was targeted 18 times last week. EIGHTEEN. He brought 12 of those in for 132 yards and his first touchdown of the season. Lots of upside here for Adams, who you could stack with Aaron Rodgers in some lineups, though that does put you in a bad position salary-wise.
Courtland Sutton, DEN ($5,200) - vs BAL
Hey, I already suggested that you play Bridgewater. Now, stack him with wide receiver Courtland Sutton.
With Jerry Jeudy and K.J. Hamler out, Bridgewater is going to spend a lot of time looking Sutton's way.
Sutton is currently 12th in the NFL in air yards per AddMoreFunds. He's getting 38.11 percent of the team's air yards, plus 21.51 percent of the targets. He has just one end zone target, which is a little concerning, but Sutton's usage as the deep threat against a defense getting pressure on 23.6 percent of pass plays means that the Broncos should have time to Sutton's routes to develop.
