Sam Burns In New Role At Sanderson Farms
3 years agoSam Burns leads the slate this week as the highest-priced golfer, which is unfamiliar territory for the LSU product. It's hard to argue that Burns is undeserving of that price tag, especially when considering the lack of elite players he will have to grapple with this week. Over his last 36 rounds, the former Valspar Championship winner ranks 10th in strokes gained on approach, first in strokes gained in putting, second in birdies or better gained and third in strokes gained on par-fives. He has already finished third before at the C.C. of Jackson, and Bermuda is far and away his best putting surface.
