Gleyber Torres Extends Hitting Streak To 10 Games
3 years agoNew York Yankees shortstop/second baseman Gleyber Torres went 3-for-5 with a home run and two RBI in Friday's victory over the Red Sox. Torres started his day off with an RBI single, then powered a 104.1 MPH homer to give New York an 8-3 lead. He capped his day off with a 101.6 MPH single. Torres has been absolutely on fire since the switch to second base, as he has gotten a hit in every game since that point, as he's hit .388 with one home run, four RBI, five runs scored, and two stolen bases. The 24-year-old has shown much better plate discipline during this stretch. Torres is rewarding patient fantasy managers at the right time.
