Brandin Cooks Exceeds 100 Yards For Second Time This Season
3 years agoHouston Texans wide receiver Brandin Cooks caught nine passes for 112 yards in Thursday's loss to the Panthers. Even with a quarterback change, Cooks again operated as the team's top pass-catcher, accounting for an astonishing 112 of Davis Mills' 168 passing yards. The speedy receiver has now accumulated 23 catches for 322 yards and a touchdown through three weeks of play. Cooks might be on a bad Texans team, but he needs to be viewed as an every-week WR2/3 option, depending on the matchup. That said, a Week 4 date with Buffalo could provide a much stiffer test.
