4 years agoAtlanta Falcons wide receiver Olamide Zaccheaus will likely be the team's second starting wideout in Week 3 against the Giants. Zaccheaus wasn't targeted in Week 1 but saw his snap count percentage rise in Week 2, as he was on the field for 58 percent of the team's snaps, seeing four targets and hauling in two of them for 22 yards. Fellow wideout Russell Gage (ankle) appears to be on the wrong side of questionable for Sunday's game, opening up some opportunities for someone like Zaccheaus. The 24-year-old has flashed the ability to be a field-stretcher at times in his young career, and he could be a cheap DFS option to take a shot on in Week 3.--Tim Capurso

2 months agoWashington Commanders wide receiver Olamide Zaccheaus caught four of his five targets for 26 yards during their loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC Title game. Zaccheaus also caught a two-point conversion in the third quarter. Zaccheaus' five targets matched him with No.2 wideout Dyami Brown. His yardage total was the fourth-most among Washington pass catchers. This was a nice bounce-back showing for Zaccheaus, as he caught just three passes for 19 yards in the wild-card round and did not get on the scoresheet in the divisional round. However, during the final three weeks of the regular season, Zacchaeus was a key part of the offense as he tallied 68.7 yards per game with three touchdowns. Zaccheaus will likely continue to operate as a depth wide receiver if he returns to Washington in 2025.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller

2 months agoWashington Commanders wide receiver Olamide Zaccheaus (hip) is off the injury report and good to go for Sunday's NFC Championship game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Zaccheaus opened the week as a limited participant but was able to log a full session on Friday to avoid a designation. During the playoffs, Zaccheaus has taken a step back as Dyami Brown has grown into the No.2 WR role. As a result, Zacchaeus has caught just three passes for 19 yards. However, during the final three weeks of the regular season, Zaccheaus averaged 68.7 yards per game with three touchdowns. With the Commanders entering this game as underdogs, they may find themselves trailing at times, which could set up a positive game script for the slot receiver. He is a WR3 at a value price in DFS on Sunday.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller

2 months agoAccording to the team, Washington Commanders wide receiver Olamide Zaccheaus (hip) remained a limited participant during Thursday's practice. Fantasy managers should keep a close eye on his status on Friday. If he is unable to upgrade to full participation, he may carry a questionable tag into Sunday's conference championship. Last weekend, during their upset victory over the Detroit Lions, Zacchaeus could not catch any of his two targets. During the wild-card round, Zaccheaus caught three passes for 19 yards. However, during the final three weeks of the regular season, Zacchaeus was a key part of the Washington air attack, averaging 68.7 yards per game with five receptions per contest and three touchdowns. Dyami Brown has surpassed him as the No.2 option on the depth chart, but Zaccheaus still carries flex value in DFS at a much lower price.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller

2 months agoWashington Commanders wide receiver Olamide Zaccheaus (hip) put in a limited practice in the first session of the week on Wednesday. Zaccheaus had to come out of the Divisional Round win on Saturday against the Detroit Lions briefly with a hip ailment, but he was able to return and finish out the game. The 27-year-old was targeted only once in the upset victory but didn't come down with a catch. As long as he doesn't have any setbacks the next two days, Zaccheaus should be available for Washington as they look to punch their ticket to the Super Bowl by beating the division-rival Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC Championship game on Sunday. Zaccheaus had one catch for 10 yards in the first meeting with the Eagles on Nov. 14, but he went off for five catches, 70 yards and two touchdowns on eight targets in the second meeting on Dec. 22. He'll be a boom/bust DFS sleeper play at the receiver position this weekend.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
