James Conner Will Look To Bounce Back In Week 3
3 years agoArizona Cardinals running back James Conner had a dreadful game in Week 2 against the Minnesota Vikings. Conner saw just half the carries as he did in Week 1 and averaged around the same yardage as he did in Week 1 when he saw 16 carries for 53 yards. In Week 2, he saw eight carries for 26 yards. He has seen no targets thus far, but he has seen red-zone carries. Conner will face a Jaguars rush defense that has allowed 215 rushing yards and two touchdowns to running backs through the first two weeks of the season. Arizona's offense can put up points on a weekly basis, but Conner is, at best, a touchdown-dependent RB3/flex behind Chase Edmonds in this backfield.
