3 years agoSan Francisco 49ers veteran cornerback Josh Norman, who signed with the team less than two weeks ago, is expected to start against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 2, according to a source. The 33-year-old former shutdown corner played in nine games with the Buffalo Bills last season, but eventually he became more of a depth player in Buffalo's secondary late in the year. The Niners are struggling at cornerback with Emmanuel Moseley (knee) out this weekend and with the oft-injured Jason Verrett already on Injured Reserve. The 49ers defense/special teams was a popular fantasy pick because of their strong defensive line, but they could be vulnerable through the air on Sunday against Philly.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
