3 years agoCleveland Guardians pitcher Shane Bieber (shoulder) will make a rehab start for Double-A Akron on Sunday. He has been sidelined since mid-June with a strained right shoulder. The 26-year-old will throw 55-60 pitches on Sunday. He allowed one earned run on three hits and a walk while striking out three across 2 2/3 innings in his previous rehab start with Triple-A Columbus. With two weeks left in the regular season, Bieber could return to the majors for a start or two. Fantasy managers need to temper expectations as Bieber will likely be on a pitch count if he is activated before the season ends. Stay tuned.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
