Lorenzo Cain Exits Saturday’s Game With Hip Discomfort
3 years agoMilwaukee Brewers outfielder Lorenzo Cain (hip) exited Saturday's 6-4 win over the Chicago Cubs with right discomfort. The 35-year-old sustained the injury after he collided with the outfield wall while making a catch. He remained in the game but was eventually replaced by Jackie Bradley Jr. in the top of the fifth inning. Cain went 0-for-1 with a walk before exiting. The severity of his hip injury is unknown at this time and he's considered day-to-day. Bradley Jr. would see an uptick in playing time if Cain were to miss any games.
