Jordan Luplow Launches 11th Home Run On Saturday
3 years agoTampa Bay Rays outfielder Jordan Luplow went 2-for-2 with a two-run home run in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Detroit Tigers. He blasted a two-run shot off Tigers pitcher Tarik Skubal to cut the Rays deficit 4-2. It was his first long ball since September 7. The 27-year-old entered Saturday's game 0-for-7 with four strikeouts over his last three contests. Luplow busted out of his mini-slump with his multi-hit effort on Saturday. Overall, Luplow is slashing .203/.326/.456 with 11 home runs, 28 RBI, 23 runs scored, and one stolen base over 58 games in 2021. Luplow is in a platoon role with Ji-Man Choi and can be used as a streamer in deep-league formats.
