Tyrell Williams Ruled Out For Monday Night
3 years agoDetroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell said that wide receiver Tyrell Williams (concussion) has been ruled out for the Monday night meeting with the Green Bay Packers. Williams, the Lions top receiver, had just two catches for 14 yards before he had to leave the Week 1 loss to the San Francisco 49ers with a head injury. After not practicing all week, consider him questionable for Week 3. The Lions have one of the thinnest wide receiver corps in the league, with rookie Amon-Ra St. Brown, Quintez Cephus and Kalif Raymond likely to start in three-receiver sets against Green Bay. Raymond (75 percent) and St. Brown (64.1) saw the biggest snap percentages in the season opener, so they figure to be used the most with Williams out. Trinity Benson should have a bigger role as well, but tight end T.J. Hockenson is the only real fantasy asset that you can trust with any confidence going into Monday night.
