Mark Ingram II A Low-End Flex Against Browns
3 years agoHouston Texans running back Mark Ingram II faces a tough matchup in Week 2 against Cleveland. Ingram was one of the biggest Week 1 surprises, carrying the ball a whopping 26 times for 85 rushing yards and a touchdown. However, the veteran back was on the field for just 46 percent of the offensive snaps, saw just one target, and plodded to a 3.2 yards per carry average. He found the sledding tough against a beatable Jaguars defense and will now have to try to find running room against the Browns' run defense, which ranked ninth in the league last year. Ingram also comes with game script concerns, as the Texans are 13-point underdogs. All these factors make him highly dependent on touchdowns for fantasy success in Week 2.
