Alvin Kamara An Elite RB1 Play Against Panthers
3 years agoNew Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara is primed for a big game against the Panthers in Week 2. Kamara didn't have the most eye-popping numbers in Week 1- though he was undoubtedly the centerpiece of the Saints offense, handling 24 touches including 20 carries, his third-highest total in 68 career games, totaling 91 scrimmage yards and a touchdown. The All-Pro runner draws a matchup with a Panthers defense that surrendered the eighth-most fantasy points per game to running backs last year, including the most receptions and second-most targets. Kamara turned 22 touches into 148 scrimmage yards against the Panthers last year. Even if Carolina is sporting an improved defensive unit, Kamara's talent and workload make him a threat to lead the position in fantasy scoring every week.
