Hank Lebioda Trending In The Wrong Direction
3 years agoHank Lebioda had a nice little run over the summer when he finished 13th, 51st, 17th, 31st, fifth, fourth and eighth in seven consecutive starts. Since then, however, Lebioda has missed back-to-back cuts. The Florida State product's hot streak always felt like it was unsustainable given how much he was relying on his putter. Lebioda gained over 2.8 strokes putting in six of those seven starts. When his putter cooled, so did his results. The Florida native has now lost strokes off the tee in five consecutive starts, and the irons have been trending in the wrong direction as well. Lebioda has proven he possesses top-10 upside if his putter gets going, but that is far from a guarantee.
