3 years agoThe New York Giants defense can be used as a streamer in Week 2 in what's projected to be a low-scoring affair (40.5 over/under) against the Washington Football Team Thursday. Washington will be starting back up QB Taylor Heinicke with starter Ryan Fitzpatrick (hip) landing on the injured reserve Tuesday. While he isn't a significant downgrade to Fitzpatrick, look for Washington to run the ball plenty as the Giants expect to see a heavy dose of RB Antonio Gibson on Thursday. The Giants D/ST will look to bounce back after allowing 27 points and 429 yards of total offense in Sunday's 27-13 Week 1 loss to the Denver Broncos.
