Latavius Murray Scores In Ravens Debut
3 years agoBaltimore Ravens running back Latavius Murray rushed for 28 yards on 10 carries and a touchdown in Monday night's 33-27 overtime loss to the Las Vegas Raiders. He led the team in carries and his eight-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter gave the Ravens a 24-17 lead. The 31-year-old was second in usage among all three Ravens running backs, logging 31% of the team's snaps. Murray was released by the New Orleans Saints late in the preseason and signed a one-year deal with the Ravens just before Week 1. The Ravens will continue to use a committee approach, but Ty'Son Williams is expected to lead the Ravens in touches. Murray is a borderline flex play when the Baltimore Ravens host the Kansas City Chiefs Sunday night.
