Miguel Sano Has Three-Hit Day, Homers In Loss
3 years agoMinnesota Twins first/third baseman Miguel Sano collected three hits, a home run, and two RBI in Monday's loss to the Yankees. Sano went without a hit in each of his last three games, so it was nice to see him collect a trio Monday afternoon, including a 383-foot homer. The slugger has eight hits in September, half of them home runs along with a 16:5 strikeout-to-walk ratio, as he continues to be a boom/bust fantasy option. Sano has been great against the Indians, his next opponent this season, posting seven extra-base hits and RBI in 39 at-bats against Cleveland pitching. He'll be an upside play for Tuesday's doubleheader.
