Cordarrelle Patterson Paces Team In Rushing Yards
3 years agoAtlanta Falcons running back Cordarrelle Patterson carried the ball seven times for 54 rushing yards, adding 13 receiving yards on two receptions. Patterson was the clear number-two back behind Mike Davis- though it was the former who led the team in rushing yards, averaging 7.7 yards per carry. Patterson was expected to be more of a pass-catcher, but his success on the ground could lead to more carries in Week 2. It's worth noting that recent signing Wayne Gallman could factor into the team's backfield plans against the Buccaneers, so Patterson is worth avoiding in fantasy for now.
