Tyrod Taylor Throws For 291 Yards, Two Touchdowns
3 years agoHouston Texans quarterback Tyrod Taylor completed 21 of 33 pass attempts for 291 yards and two touchdowns, adding 40 yards on the ground in an impressive 37-21 win over the Jaguars. Taylor fired touchdown passes to Danny Amendola and David Johnson while also looking downfield often for a healthy 8.8 yards per attempt. The veteran signal-caller proved he can take advantage of the right matchup, as he still has the ability to attack a defense with both his arm and legs. No one should expect QB1 numbers out of Taylor- though he can certainly be a solid QB2 for managers in need of a second signal-caller heading into Week 2. Taylor can be started in 2QB formats in Week 2 against the Browns, who allowed the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks.
