DeAndre Hopkins Has Strong Week 1 Performance
3 years agoArizona Cardinals wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins had six catches on eight targets for 83 yards and two touchdowns in Week 1 against the Tennessee Titans. Hopkins took advantage of the favorable matchup, and he could have done more damage if it weren't for Christian Kirk and rookie Rondale Moore having strong performances as well. Hopkins will look to keep this momentum up in Week 2 in their home opener against the Minnesota Vikings. Rookie Ja'Marr Chase had five receptions for 101 yards against the Vikings, so expect Hopkins to top that performance. Hopkins should be considered a top-tier WR1 for the rest of the season, and he should continue to see the most red-zone targets on the team.
