Robby Anderson Scores Long Touchdown In Victory
3 years agoCarolina Panthers wide receiver Robby Anderson caught one pass, but made it count in Sunday's victory over the Jets. Anderson connected with his old friend Sam Darnold on a 57-yard score against his former employer, beating the inexperienced Jets secondary. The speedy wideout was only targeted three times, taking a backseat to Christian McCaffrey and D.J. Moore, which would have been more concerning if he didn't haul in the long touchdown. Anderson should still be viewed on the WR2/3 border moving forward thanks to his big-play ability, though his upside would take a hit if he continues to be the third option behind McCaffrey and Moore. He'll get a bit of a tougher matchup in Week 2 against the Saints' defense.
