Chase McLaughlin Could Miss Season Opener
Chase McLaughlin (hamstring) could miss Sunday's Week 1 contest against the Chiefs. In fact, the Browns had enough concern about his injury that they promoted fellow kicker Chris Naggar to the active roster. This essentially verifies that McLaughlin, who is listed as questionable, is in jeopardy of being inactive for the contest. At the very least, adding Naggar allows the Browns to be extra cautious with McLaughlin. The 25-year-old played for five teams from 2019 to 2020. Through 15 career games, he has connected on 22 of 28 field-goal attempts and 31 of 32 extra-point tries.

Chase McLaughlin Makes Eight Kicks
Chase McLaughlin saw a ton of work during Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers. McLaughlin was called upon for six extra point attempts and two field goals and he connected on all of them to make an eight-kick day for him. Fantasy managers who trusted McLaughlin saw a good result during Sunday's blowout win. The 28-year-old has been one of the more reliable kicking options this season. He continues to get plenty of chances with the way this Bucs offense is rolling right now. McLaughlin remains a strong streaming option for next week's matchup against the New Orleans Saints.

Chase McLaughlin Is Worth Streaming In Week 17
Chase McLaughlin is coming off a somewhat quiet, but clean outing against the Dallas Cowboys last week. McLaughlin connected on all three of his extra point attempts and his lone field goal in the loss. McLaughlin is now 8-of-9 on field goal attempts over his last four games. He'll now head into a game against the Carolina Panthers in Week 17. McLaughlin knocked down four field goals last time these two teams played in Week 13. The assumption is that this game will be a high-scoring affair, which makes McLaughlin a viable kicking choice for Week 17.

Chase McLaughlin On Streaming Radar For Week 16
Chase McLaughlin turned in a great performance for fantasy managers during last week's game. McLaughlin connected on all eight of his kicks in the win over the Los Angeles Chargers. The 28-year-old made four field goals and four extra point attempts in what was a busy day for him. The expectation is that McLaughlin is going to be busy once again versus the Dallas Cowboys in Week 16. The Cowboys have a banged up defense that should give the Bucs plenty of scoring chances this weekend. Fantasy managers should feel comfortable starting McLaughlin in Week 16.

Chase McLaughlin Could See More Work In Week 15
Chase McLaughlin hasn't been much of a fantasy option lately outside of his four field goal effort in Week 13. Last week, McLaughlin knocked down all four of his extra point attempts in the win over the Las Vegas Raiders. McLaughlin didn't attempt a field goal as the Bucs continued to cash-in on their red zone trips. That could be a different story this weekend against a stingy Los Angeles Chargers secondary. McLaughlin could be called upon more often this weekend with the Bucs not having easy access to touchdowns. Fantasy managers who are on the fence about McLaughlin might want to give him one more chance.
