Matthew Stafford Looks To Start The Season Strong
3 years agoLos Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford is ready for his first game in a different uniform after 12 seasons with the Detroit Lions, and his first opponent is a familiar foe in the Chicago Bears in Week 1. This Rams offense is loaded at the wide receiver position, with Robert Woods and Cooper Kupp as the headliners. For the Bears, after having stud corners for a long time, they're now headlined by second-year cornerback Jaylon Johnson as their top player. Stafford has been known to take risks, but this offense should be set up to give him plenty of easy throws. As long as the pass-blockers are able to hold up, Stafford should have a great game to start his Rams career. He checks in as a low-end QB1 in his Rams debut.
