Gus Edwards Feared To Have Suffered A Torn ACL
3 years agoThe Baltimore Ravens fear running back Gus Edwards (ACL) suffered a torn ACL during Thursday's practice. The Ravens' backfield has been destroyed by injuries and have now lost running backs J.K. Dobbins (knee), Justice Hill (Achilles), and Edwards for the season. Edwards and defensive back Marcus Peters sustained severe knee injuries in back-to-back plays in Thursday's practice. Ty'Son Williams is expected to replace the 26-year-old as the Ravens' primary running back and should be rostered in all league formats. The Ravens also signed veteran RBs Le'Veon Bell and Devonta Freeman for the time being. Bell and Freeman should be rostered in most league formats with Thursday's crushing news.
