Joe Mixon Named Training Camp MVP
3 years agoBengals running back Joe Mixon was named training camp MVP on Thursday. If everything goes right, Mixon could find himself on an electric offense with an adequate offensive line, neither of which are statements he could've boasted in years past. It's no secret that the running back is a physically talented player, but his poor situation has plagued the start of his career. Now with quarterback Joe Burrow entering his second year, throwing to one of the best wide receiver trios, this could finally be the year for Mixon to display his physical gifts on what seems to be a functional offense. It's impossible to gauge what exactly the Bengals offense will look like in 2021, so Mixon's ADP of 18 is appropriate. He holds first-round upside, but it also must be recognized that the 25-year-old is entering his fifth year and has often failed to meet fantasy managers' expectations despite his clear skills.
