Carlos Rodon Expected To Start Friday Vs. Boston
3 years agoChicago White Sox pitcher Carlos Rodon (shoulder) is expected to start in Friday's game against the Boston Red Sox. He hasn't pitched since September 1 due to shoulder soreness. The southpaw missed one turn in the rotation but is expected to be all systems go for Friday. Rodon has been impressive this season and owns a 2.41 ERA, 0.98 WHIP, and a 168:32 K: BB across 119 2/3 innings in 2021. The White Sox are 11.5 games up in the AL Central and could have Rodon on a pitch count for Friday, but he should pitch long enough to produce and should be started in all league formats.
