Rashaad Penny Dealing With Calf Injury
3 years agoSeattle Seahawks running back Rashaad Penny (calf) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice. He made the Seahawks' final 53-man roster and is expected to be the primary backup behind undisputed starter Chris Carson. The former first-rounder rushed for 32 yards on 12 attempts while catching two passes on three targets for 11 yards in both preseason games. Penny will compete with Alex Collins, DeeJay Dallas, and Travis Homer for touches while Carson heads the Seahawks backfield. The 25-year-old is considered day-to-day. Collins will be the favorite to spell Carson if Penny cannot suit against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 1.
