3 years agoTampa Bay Rays outfielder Randy Arozarena was placed on the paternity list Wednesday. He will be away from the team for at least three days following the birth of his child. The 26-year-old continues to produce in 2021, slashing .256/.356/.468 with 19 home runs, 62 RBI, 86 runs scored, and 13 stolen bases over 525 plate appearances. The Rays called up top prospect Josh Lowe in a corresponding move. He slashed .282/.369/.540 with 21 home runs, 73 RBI and 24 stolen bases with Triple-A Durham this season. According to Jeff Passan of ESPN, Lowe's stay in the majors could be short-lived, and he should see most of his at-bats in right field while Arozarena is away. Fantasy managers in redraft leagues can add Lowe as a short-term replacement for Arozarena.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
