Gerrit Cole less than 8.5 strikeouts and Steven Matz more than 4.5 strikeouts
Any time you play a less than with Cole, it has the potential to be dangerous, but the Blue Jays have been absolutely terrific against right-handers over the previous 10 days as they are posting a K rate of just 11.9%, which is ranked best in baseball by far. They are also posting a wRC+ of 150 against righties across that same span, which is ranked second-best in baseball. Cole has also faced the Blue Jays three times this season and has failed to reach nine strikeouts in all three tries.
Matz will be facing the Yankees who are posting the highest K rate (26.9%) vs. left-handers over the previous 10 days. They are also posting a putrid 51 wRC+ mark over that same span, which is ranked the worst in the league and should have Matz last a bit longer in this one. Matz has also faced the Yankees once this season and managed to strike out 10 over 6 2/3 innings pitched.

Giants @ Rockies
More or Less Contest
Logan Webb more than 5.5 strikeouts and Chi Chi Gonzalez less than 3.5 strikeouts
Logan Webb has gone over this total in each of his last six starts and has also gone over it in two of his three starts against the Rockies. On the season, the Rockies are posting a 23% K rate vs. right-handers, which should be high enough for Webb to once again get over the total here.
Chi Chi will be facing a Giants team that is only striking out at a rate of 19.7% vs. right-handers over the previous 10 days, which is ranked 10th-best in the league over that span. He has also failed to reach five innings pitched since July 23rd as he has been working in relief and may not be stretched out enough to make it very deep in this one.
