Hunter Henry Expects To Play In Week 1
3 years agoNew England Patriots tight end Hunter Henry (shoulder) is expected to play Week 1 against the Miami Dolphins. The 26-year-old has been dealing with a shoulder injury since August 8 but will be all systems go for the regular-season opener. The Patriots signed both Henry and fellow tight end Jonnu Smith this offseason to form a 1-2 punch. Henry hauled in 60 catches on 93 targets for 613 yards and four touchdowns over 14 games for the Chargers in 2021. New England will use many multi-tight end formations, expect Henry to have a vital role in the Patriots' passing attack. Henry is excellent value as a TE2 and is currently selected as TE18 in upcoming FFPC drafts.
