Ryan Yarbrough Last Two Innings Monday
3 years agoTampa Bay Rays pitcher Ryan Yarbrough allowed seven earned runs and two walks on eight hits and two walks while striking out one over two innings during Monday's 11-10 win over the Boston Red Sox. He did not factor into the decision after the impressive Rays comeback win. The southpaw was walloped and surrendered three RBI doubles. Yarbrough retired just six of seven batters he faced and removed in the third inning after 66 pitches. The 29-year-old owns a 4.90 ERA, 1.23 WHIP, and 105 strikeouts across 136 innings in 2021. Yarbrough will look for better results in his next start against the Toronto Blue Jays this weekend. Fantasy managers should look to avoid using Yarbrough as a streamer in a difficult matchup against a loaded Jays offense.
