Austin Meadows Hits Inside-The-Park Homer, Extends RBI Streak
3 years agoTampa Bay Rays outfielder Austin Meadows went 1-for-5 with an inside-the-park home run during Monday's 11-10 win over the Boston Red Sox. He flashed his speed and scored the tying run with an inside-the-park home run on Monday. The 26-year-old sits against southpaws and found himself on the bench in three of the last six games. Meadows is starting to heat up and has now driven in a run in seven straight games. The Rays outfielder is slashing .236/.321/.462 with 24 home runs, 97 RBI, 72 runs scored, and three stolen bases over 527 plate appearances in 2021. Meadows may sit against lefties occasionally but produces enough to be a quality fantasy asset rest of the season.
