Brandon Aiyuk Returns To Practice
3 years agoSan Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk (hamstring) returned to practice on Monday ahead of the team's Week 1 matchup in Detroit against the Lions. Aiyuk missed the preseason finale due to a hamstring injury, so this is a sign in the right direction that Aiyuk could play in Week 1. The 49ers will post their injury report on Wednesday, where we should get more clarity as to whether Aiyuk will be cleared to play or remain questionable heading into Friday's final injury report. Whether Jimmy Garoppolo or Trey Lance favors Aiyuk or Deebo Samuel remains to be seen, but George Kittle will likely lead the team in targets. If Aiyuk ultimately ends up playing, he should be considered a WR2 against the Lions defense. DFS players should consider adding Aiyuk to their lineup because of the favorable matchup.
