Zack Martin Tests Positive For COVID, Out Week 1
3 years agoDallas Cowboys offensive lineman Zack Martin has tested positive for COVID-19 and will not play in the regular-season opener against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Cowboys placed the All-Pro Bowl guard on the reserve/ COVID-19 list Sunday. He becomes the first player this season to be ruled out for a game after testing positive. His absence only hurts QB Dak Prescott and the Cowboys' offense. Connor McGovern will start in Martin's place in Week 1. The 30-year-old's next chance to return will be Week 2 against the Los Angeles Chargers.
