Evan Engram Hasn't Done Much In Practice
3 years agoNew York Giants tight end Evan Engram (calf) reportedly hasn't done much in practice this past week. He injured his calf in the preseason finale against the New England Patriots and has been limited since. "His status for the opener hasn't been announced, but the minimal work he's done this week during practice doesn't bode well," per Dan Duggan of The Athletic. Engram is considered questionable for Week 1 against Denver Broncos. The 27-year-old is going as TE15 in FFPC Leagues after hauling in 63 receptions for 654 yards and a touchdown over 16 games in 2020. The Giants added Kenny Golladay, Kyle Rudolph, and first-round rookie WR Kadarius Toney this offseason, which is expected to cut into Engram's target share, making him more of a TE2 in most league formats. "Engram's production could dip into the 50-catch, 550-yard range," Duggan added. Stay tuned for more updates.
