Giancarlo Stanton Homers, Delivers Walk-Off Hit
3 years agoNew York Yankees designated hitter/outfielder Giancarlo Stanton went 2-for-5 with a home run and two RBI in Friday's victory over the Orioles. Stanton's fingerprints were all over this Yankee win, as he homered in the fourth inning, then won the game in the 11th inning with an RBI single. His homer traveled 424 feet at 105.7 MPH, though his hardest-hit ball of the day came on the game-winning base hit, which left his bat at an incredible 121.1 MPH. Stanton has been excellent for fantasy managers this year, as evidenced by his .273/.365/.502 slash line with 26 homers, 73 RBI, and 53 runs scored.
