Eugenio Suarez Reaches 25 Homers
Eugenio Suarez went 1-for-2 with a solo homer and a walk in a 15-5 loss to the Detroit Tigers on Friday. Suarez reached 25 homers in a season for the fourth time in five years when he launched a second-inning Tyler Alexander offering over the fence for a solo shot. The veteran infielder is starting to show some signs of heating up as he has two doubles and two homers in his past three games. Overall, Suarez is hitting .175 with 25 homers, 59 runs, and 68 RBI over 439 at-bats this season.
