Trey Mancini Hits 21st Homer Of Season Friday
3 years agoBaltimore Orioles first baseman/outfielder Trey Mancini had a nice day at the plate in Friday's 4-3 extra-innings loss to the Yankees, going 2-for-4 with a single, a solo home run, a walk, and a strikeout. Mancini clobbered a sixth-inning Nester Cortes fastball into the left-field seats to get the O's on the board. The 29-year-old now has a decent .258/.319/.451 slash line with 21 HR and 66 RBI on the season. However, he's hit just five HR with 11 RBI in the second half of the season. Hopefully, he can pick things up for the last month of the season. In the meantime, fantasy managers should keep Mancini on their benches if they can afford it.
