Qadree Ollison Released By The Falcons
Qadree Ollison on Thursday. He was waived by the Falcons on Thursday and replaced by Wayne Gallman. The 24-year-old emerged during camp as the favorite for the backup role behind Mike Davis but was ultimately cut. Ollison will look to latch onto another team in search of running back depth. Gallman, recently released by the 49ers, will serve as the backup running back behind Davis. He had his best season filling in for Saquon Barkley (knee) for the Giants in 2020, rushing for 682 yards and six touchdowns while averaging 4.6 YPC in 15 games. Fantasy managers should be targeting Gallman as the Falcons backup running back in upcoming fantasy drafts.

Jaguars Sign Qadree Ollison
Qadree Ollison to an undisclosed deal. Ollison was originally a fifth-round draft pick by the Atlanta Falcons in 2019. The 26-year-old spent three years in Atlanta and had 44 carries for 158 yards and five touchdowns in 19 games over three seasons before joining the Dallas Cowboys in 2022. Ollison was active for three games last year but didn't see a single carry. He started all 14 games as a senior at Pittsburgh in college and had 1,213 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns on 194 carries, which ranked second in the ACC. Falcons Cut Qadree Ollison
Qadree Ollison on Tuesday, according to a league source. The former fifth-round pick led the team in rushing touchdowns (four) in his rookie season in 2019, so he'll likely receive calls from interested teams now that he's on the open market. With the 25-year-old out of the picture in Atlanta, Damien Williams, rookie Tyler Allgeier and Avery Williams will be competing for backfield touches behind Cordarrelle Patterson in 2022. In his three seasons with the Falcons, Ollison had 44 carries for 158 yards (3.6 yards per tote) and five touchdowns, adding only five catches on eight targets for 19 yards receiving.

Qadree Ollison Totals 33 Yards On The Ground
Qadree Ollison rushed five times for 33 yards during Friday's preseason opener against the Detroit Lions. His most impressive play came when he broke off an 18-yard run on the opening drive. Ollison primarily played with Marcus Mariota and the starters, though he did garner one hand-off from Desmond Ridder. The 25-year-old has spent the last three seasons as a depth piece on Atlanta's roster, and he picked up a career-high 117 scrimmage yards and one touchdown last season. The Falcons' backfield has plenty of question marks once again, but it looks like Ollison is likely competing with Damien Williams for the third-string role behind rookie Tyler Allgeier and veteran gadget player Cordarrelle Patterson.

Falcons Sign Auden Tate, Qadree Ollison
Auden Tate and running back Qadree Ollison to undisclosed one-year deals on Monday. Tate, a former seventh-round pick of the Cincinnati Bengals in 2018, spent the last four seasons in Cincy and has amassed 61 catches for 799 yards and two touchdowns in 35 career games (12 starts). The Falcons are thin at receiver after losing Russell Gage in free agency and Calvin Ridley to a season-long suspension, but Tate is unlikely to be of much use in fantasy, especially with quarterback Matt Ryan no longer in town. Ollison has just 44 carries for 158 yards and five touchdowns in his three seasons with Atlanta and will continue to serve as RB depth behind Mike Davis and Cordarrelle Patterson in 2022.
