Miguel Rojas Leads Off With A Home Run
3 years agoMiami Marlins shortstop Miguel Rojas led off Thursday's game with a solo home run. Rojas took the first pitch of the game and deposited it into the left field seats, giving the Marlins a quick 1-0 lead that wouldn't last too long. Rojas ended up going 2-for-4 with two runs scored and the RBI from his solo shot. Rojas has been hitting in the first spot in the Marlins order most games lately, and he's batting .269 with a .735 OPS. While he's far from the stereotypical leadoff hitter, Rojas gets the job done and also plays outstanding defense. He's a much more valuable "real life" ballplayer, but he certainly has fantasy value still, especially in deeper formats.
