3 years agoLos Angeles Rams running back Jake Funk was in a hotly contested battle for the team's third running back spot behind Darrell Henderson Jr. and Sony Michel with former teammate Xavier Jones. Funk had been the better of the two runners in the preseason, but it was still not a guarantee that he was going to claim the final roster spot in the backfield. On Tuesday afternoon, he was shown as the final running back on the depth chart. While he doesn't possess a ton of fantasy value initially, with the two players in front of him not being known for their health, Funk could be worth an interesting stash in especially deep leagues.--Gage Bridgford - RotoBaller
