Ke'Bryan Hayes Considered Day-To-Day
3 years agoPittsburgh Pirates' third baseman Ke'Bryan Hayes (hand) is considered day-to-day. He is currently not swinging a bat and is day-to-day after suffering a hand bruise in Sunday's 4-3 win over the St. Louis Cardinals. The 24-year-old slammed his helmet after making an out on Sunday. He is still experiencing soreness, and his next chance to return to the lineup is Wednesday against the Chicago White Sox. Wilmer Difo drew the start at third base and would see an uptick in playing time while Hayes is sidelined. Difo can be used as a streamer in deep-league formats after hitting .429 (6-for-14) with two RBI over his last seven games.
