3 years agoThere is still no guarantee that New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley will be ready to play in Week 1. Initially, coach Joe Judge said Barkley could miss the first two weeks of the season. The Giants open up their year against the Denver Broncos at home. Judge may hold Barkley out of the opener due to the matchup. There is a quick turnaround for the Giants, as they match up against the Washington Football Team during Week 2 for Thursday Night Football. Therefore, he may miss the first two weeks and be back for Week 3 against the Atlanta Falcons. Nevertheless, Devontae Booker could be in line for more carries in Weeks 1 and 2.--Satamian Levon
