David Johnson Rips Off 21-Yard Run In Preseason Finale
3 years agoHouston Texans running back David Johnson carried the ball four times for 30 rushing yards and saw one target in Saturday's 23-16 loss to the Buccaneers. Johnson picked up 21 of his 30 rushing yards on one play, the third-longest play by any Texan in the game. The veteran halfback appears to be the third runner on the depth chart behind Phillip Lindsay and Mark Ingram II, as he looks to be the favorite for receiving work. Johnson could carve out a pass-catching role in 2021, though he doesn't possess the same type of fantasy upside he once commanded.
