Tommy Tremble Catches Two Passes Friday
3 years agoCarolina Panthers tight end Tommy Tremble caught both of his targets for 45 yards in Friday's win over the Steelers. Tremble had a couple of nice plays, including a candidate for catch of the preseason when he made an acrobatic, juggling reception. The third-round pick out of Notre Dame was drafted for his ability as a blocker, though he seems like he could factor in as a pass-catching option, albeit with not much fantasy value barring an injury. Fellow tight end Dan Arnold seems to be the starter- but Tremble has already outplayed Ian Thomas, seemingly vaulting himself to the backup job after totaling seven catches for 82 yards and a score in three preseason contests.
