Milwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Brandon Woodruff struck out 10 across six scoreless innings during a 4-1 victory over the Cincinnati Reds on Wednesday. The two-time All-Star was stellar, generating 30 CSW while allowing just four singles on 104 pitches. The Brew Crew ace is now 8-7 with a 2.38 ERA, 0.93 WHIP, and 177 strikeouts across 151 1/3 innings pitched. The 28-year-old will look to continue his strong season early next week on the road against the San Francisco Giants.--Patrick Doris

Milwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Brandon Woodruff (shoulder) made a 61-pitch rehab start at Triple-A Nashville on Thursday, but felt "really tired" afterward, according to manager Pat Murphy. Murphy also indicated that, although Woodruff experienced tiredness, there were no physical setbacks, so a return to the major league mound in May still appears to be on track. Despite not pitching in a game since 2023, the righty owns a career 3.10 ERA, 1.05 WHIP, and 22.4 percent K-BB%, so for those in need of pitching help, the 32-year-old is a worthwhile bench or IL stash in most fantasy leagues.--Jarod Rupp - RotoBaller

Milwaukee Brewers right-hander Brandon Woodruff (shoulder) is scheduled to pitch four innings in his next minor-league rehab start on Thursday for Triple-A Nashville. After that, Woodruff will be scheduled for some five-inning outings to ensure that he keeps bouncing back, according to MLB.com's Adam McCalvy. In his first rehab start on Saturday for Nashville, Woodruff gave up two earned runs on four hits while walking two and striking out five in 3 2/3 innings. The 32-year-old veteran missed the entire 2023 campaign after having right-shoulder surgery, so his fantasy value is going to be limited while on an innings limit in 2025 whenever he returns. Barring a setback with his shoulder, though, Woodruff should be ready to make his season debut in early May. He was an ace prior to his shoulder injury in 2023, making him worth stashing in all fantasy leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller

Milwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Brandon Woodruff (shoulder) made his first rehab start with Triple-A Nashville on Saturday. This was the first time that Woodruff has been on the mound since having shoulder surgery last year. He tossed 3 2/3 innings, allowing two earned runs, and striking out five batters. He threw 66 pitches and 44 of them for strikes as he topped out at 95.1 mph on his fastball. The 32-year-old will likely still need to make a few more rehab appearances before rejoining the Brewers rotation. The hope is that Woodruff can return to the big league rotation by the end of April or early May.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller

Milwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Brandon Woodruff (shoulder) is set to make his first rehab start at Triple-A Nashville on Friday. Woodruff hasn't pitched in an MLB game since 2023, but is finally nearing his return to the big league mound. The plan is for Woodruff to work four innings and throw around 65 pitches on Saturday. The expectation is that Woodruff will need two or three more outings before joining the big league staff. His timetable appears to be the end of April or early May. Fantasy managers shouldn't rush to the waiver wire to add Woodruff. He hasn't thrown a big league pitch in quite some time, so might want to take a wait-and-see approach here.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
