Question Loom for Collin Morikawa Ahead of BMW Championship
3 years agoAfter Collin Morikawa missed the cut last week at the Northern Trust, it was reported that he had injured his back at the Olympics, which has hampered his play over the past few weeks. This certainly makes sense, as Morikawa has not even remotely resembled his usual self since returning from Tokyo. The two-time major winner has separated himself from the pack as the best iron player in the world, but he has now lost strokes on approach in both starts since the Olympics. While it's obvious that he would not be in the field this week if he did not believe he was healthy enough to compete, there are far safer options in his price range.
