3 years agoThe Boston Red Sox activated infielder Christian Arroyo (hamstring) from the 10-day injured list on Monday. Jonathan Arauz was optioned to Triple-A in a corresponding move. Arroyo made a pinch-hitting appearance in the team's game against the Texas Rangers on Monday, going 0-for-1 in the game. The 26-year-old had been sidelined since mid-July with a hamstring injury. He's had a decent season at the plate, primarily serving as a utility man for the team.
